David Jenkins was one of the main pioneers
of the stainless steel container industry in South Africa and established
the company in 1979. He created an opportunity for interested investors
to hedge their income against the volatility of the Rand. At the
same time he wanted to ensure the investment were prudently managed
on behalf of the investors. This lead to the establishment of Multistar
Leasing Limited, a UK based company.
